Wow only into the 12th episode and they ruined it by writing a episode like this.
Great job on the writing Leila,,,,, this episode might just loose this series enough viewers 2 get
it pulled.

SPOILERS,,,,,,,,,, well kinda
It needs a storyline direction change, and fast.
Only way 2 save this is with a total surprise spin on the current events in the storyline,,,,,,,
or they can try 2 change the story-lines current direction by having her or him, or even both
backing out/of the current ending of this episode. (still does not change the problem with this
ending and the effect it has on the other characters)
If they don't change it,,, They will get pulled of air before this season is even done airing, never
mind a season 2.

So i'll watch the next episode 2 see what is going on with the storyline.
If they keep on going with this direction, episode 13 will be the last episode i'll watch.
I don't think they will do anything 2 change it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and for most people (if not all)
it's kinda hard 2 watch a show when the main character is making choices (storyline direction) that
you dislike, do not agree with or approve of.

So, seeing as writers never listen 2 me
this show is DOOMED.
2 bad, it had promise and potential.

Edit
Was just reading the plot for ep 13

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

BLUEBELL PREPARES FOR THE ANNUAL SWEETIE PIE DANCE
Zoe (Rachel Bilson) decides that it's too soon in her relationship with Judson (guest star Wes
Brown) to go to the annual Sweetie Pie Dance so instead she makes plans to have a sleepover with
Rose (McKaley Miller), whose parents are going out of town.
George (Scott Porter) misplaces the save the dates for his upcoming wedding which causes major
trouble in Lemon (Jaime King) paradise.
Lemon wants her father (Tim Matheson) to finally move on from her mother leaving him, so she
secretly gets him a date for the dance.
Wilson Bethel and Cress Williams also star. Patrick Norris directed the episode written by executive
producer Leila Gerstein.

So,,,, yeah,,,, this show is dead.

I might be alone on this one, but I really liked the direction the story is taking. You don't have to agree with
the decisions a character makes to still enjoy the show. I honestly thought this was one of the best
episodes so far. Something needed to happen.

Well, liking a direction of a storyline and starting 2 dislike the main character because of the
choices in that storyline are 2 different things.
For me it's the latter of the 2 reasons in this case.

Lets pretend like this is real for a minute.
(It's the only way for a lot of people 2 watch a show like this and the only reason 2 keep watching
is 2 immerse yourself in the story and have a interest in the characters)

You think a guy like Wade would ever seriously date her after the bar scene.(even if she was single
again)

No,,,,,,, he took his shot,,, he missed ,,, she's kissing a idiot in his bar that slept with her
girlfriend at the party.
Wade = done with her. Any guy would be.
Well unless you don't know,or care for the person and just want 2 have a fling. But they all do know
and "Zoe" isn't that kind of a girl, a point made several times in the storyline.
Ahhhhhh why am i explaining this ,,,, you watch the show.
My point being, a show like this should not be 2 far fetched.
It should stay at least semi believable.
Wade and her hooking up so 2 speak after the bar scene is none existent and she can't end up with
George either this soon because that will still leave Wade out of the storyline.
Viewers that want and watch story lines like that usually watch other shows, like soaps or the
vampire crap show that seems 2 actually be immortal somehow and just won't die.

What i don't understand =
The veterinarian role is just a guest role. He will be gone, so how is it that the writer lets him
have such a large impact on the futures storyline direction. You might as well write Wade out all
together now,
he has no real function in the storyline anymore as a love interest. (Love interest<-----writer plot
words, not mine)
Well not in the same way he was or seemed 2 be intended like in the previous episodes and the shows
description.
Guess i'll see what happens 2 him in the next episode.

It is starting 2 look more and more like a soap show (taking that direction).
Lets face it, none of the current viewers of Hart Of Dixie watches the show for the drama alone and
that is what is happening.
Just drama series are done for the age group they are targeting, put some more comedy in it.
Or, maybe they should try and spin it like a soap, get those viewers and the show will last for 20
years,
but i won't be watching it.

So your right about something needed 2 happen, i just think, this was not it.
Well they have 10 more episodes total and from those 10 i think five 2 get it right.
Like a said, i'll watch next ep, if i don't like the direction or how it's done (written) 2 get 2
that point,,,, i'm done.

I don't think she and Wade are done. Wade didn't really take his chance. He didn't tell her how he felt.
Really all he did was buy a new shirt. I think Zoe is lonely and desperate for someone to connect with.
The veterinarian is the only person that has actually expressed an interest in her since she moved to
Bluebell. Wade may have alluded to being interested but he hasn't actually made it clear to Zoe that he
has feelings for her beyond a one night roll in the hay.

I suppose my problem with your argument is that it completely absolves Wade of his responsibility in his
currently situation. Let's not forget the show he put on for Zoe in the kitchen. Zoe doesn't know Wade
thought she was with the vet. Wade is always very jokey with her (LOVE Levon's line about Wade
needing to stop tugging Zoe's pigtails because it fit perfectly) so Zoe probably just wrote it off. Why
would Zoe take Wade seriously as a romantic option when he's a little bit on the trampy side?

When Zoe kissed the veterinarian, I honestly don't think she knew Wade was interested in her or that he
bought the shirt to try to impress her. For all she knew, he could've bought it to impress the girl that
wanted to do body shots with him. It would be a logical conclusion, after all.

I think the writers are leading somewhere very important with the Zoe/veterinarian story line. I don't
hold the kiss against Zoe in the least. I want to see her with Wade so badly and seeing how hurt he was
over that kiss broke my heart in ways I can't explain (Wilson Bethel played the scene perfectly) but
Wade needs to man up and tell Zoe what his deal is. I think the veterinarian will be the catalyst for that.
Without that kiss, Wade wouldn't be forced to confront his feelings and either do something about them
or let her go.

I'm not saying that Wade has no responsibility in this. He has a big part in this,,,,,, but lets not
forget hers 2.
He still needs 2 grow up, grow some ehhhhhh courage and step up.
Forced 2 confront his feelings is a little late and well so is the rest.
She's with the vet. So there is no choice anymore.(seeing the plot for ep 13)

I don't mean 2 sound like i absolve him from anything,,,, it's just that,,,, well,,,, it's her choice.
She's the main character,,,, there's no need 2 like the rest of the cast, they could move away, or
the writer could give Zoe a medical mystery by letting one die of a unknown cause.
So they can be replaced.

I'm saying she should not have kissed the vet at all, it's not believable that when it's made clear
she's not a fling kinda girl.
She would kiss a guy that her friend has slept with within a couple of hours of meeting him. quoting
you,,,,,,,,,,
Why would Zoe take Wade seriously as a romantic option when he's a little bit on the trampy
side,,,,,,,,,,,
What does doing that with a friend of her make the vet then?
So if she wrote Wade of for the reason that he has flings(no friends of her btw), so should the vet
be written off 2 for the same reason and even more so because of the friend thing.
I think they toned down George his thing with her because of the lack of (woman) viewer support for
them getting together.

I think they (Leila) wrote themselves into a hole and can't get out.
This episode will be a turning point that is clear.
It's up 2 the writer on how good they are and how inventive in the writing department.
or this turning point of a episode is the downfall of the show and more and more current HOD viewers
will start changing the channel.

Seriously..really. you realise its a television program don't you. its for entertainment, its not Real. as
for the plot, sad to see the George/Zoe combination go and the Lemon/George combo strengthen.
Couldn't think of a worse person in the world than Lemon, she is just disgusting and horrible. WOuld
like to see more LeVone/Lemon action, Zoe/Wade action, Zoe/George action, spice it up and let it rip.

Seriously... really,, you should learn 2 read the whole posts before you jump 2 conclusions.
I actually talked about that but then you dare reply with Lemon is the worse person in the world,
she's disgusting and horrible.

Now you do realize that it is a tv show right ,,,because i can think of lots of other people that
are way worse then lemon.

Me and wandareviewstv where just talking plot/storyline here,,,,, and as it's for entertainment, why
would people watch it if you start 2 dislike it.
So read the whole posts because making a comment like that and then talk about the show as if it's
real or a soap makes no sense at all.
