Maybe it's just me, but the sound gets out of sync within moments, and keep
getting worse, in various media players. Can someone re-post?

What OS are you on? Players you've tried?

Xp in combination with Nero, Creative Mediasource and WMP.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

Ok, I just downloaded a torrent by the exact same name, but different tracker,
from VTV. That one plays perfectly.

familyguy,
you seem an expert. so sorry to ask may be for the hundredth time, but what
are the better ways of watching eps?
i am referring both to 350 megs and eventually to 1100 x264 rips.
i ask coz at the moment, simple minded as i am, i watch on my laptop with
ffdshow...
thanks in advance
phil

i used to watch on the the computer too but better to watch on ya tv, i do so
thru a stand alone dvd player that supports divx. you can pick them up pretty
cheap these days dont think youre simple minded tho

i have an old one actually, so i'd have to buy a new one with divx support..
is it worth it though, i mean it won't be able to decode x264 right?
i have a HD tv of course.
do you know if a HDDVD player will do the job? i burn a dvd with 4 eps in
x264, and watch it in glorious HD on the tv..
in that case, i'd rather go for that..

Use an XBOX with Xbox Media Centre and stream it directly from your PC, no
burning required. I have a DVD player that plays divx and XBOX and XBOX is by
far the best way. HDDVD will not do the job yet (as far as I know).

actually you can avoid the burning if you could connect a high performance PC
with a good video card to your HDTV... but do not know if you want to go that way...

how about "LaCie silverscreen" ... 40 GB - 179$
didn´t want to post the product page link but you´ll find it easily.

/me uses standalone player but also got the computer linked to TV. RW CD is
burnt faster than switching output mode.
ipv6 ready
