This is great news! I always appreciate it when a show is allowed to finish it's run properly. That goes especially if I like the show, but I also frequently find myself able to be happy for people with other tastes, when they get a proper finish of their favourites. All in all, a show needs to be outright harmful to humanity (i.e.: reality show), before I get annoyed by it's renewal. So, what on Earth is eating those who feel the need to express annoyance at this renewal? |

This has been the best and most creative show in years! I amsure they have had a very difficult time keeping the show up to the high standards set. Many shows get so watered down from their original appeal. Mostly Abrams showa. But this one just keep going strong and getting better. I am so sad it will come to an end. |

at least the they get to go out on the right terms, a show like this deserves to go out with dignity. Really excited and sad at the same time but im sure they wont leave us disappointed! |

This is a welcome surprise! Honestly, this season hasn't been as strong in terms of the overall storyline (though the individual episodes have been great). I hope they are able to bring the series full circle. I have never understood why the story didn't delve deeper into cortexiphane. I hope they give us so closer there. |

Somebody stopped watching because of the 2nd universe?!? WTF, that was always part of the show, even before the viewers knew of it! (and was more or less shown to be there within the first couple episodes). I'm glad it's been given a firm half-season renewal. With this knowledge the show should be able to come to a proper ending (open-ended or closed), that will fit the creator's vision. I just hope it's a continuous 13 week run, and not split into two or three broadcasting blocks. And the only thing I've disliked is the concept of a single element being powerful enough to disrupt both universes, without a significant mechanism. Isn't the machine at the "bridge" enough? They didn't even really examine all the anachronisms that presented. And I hope, that if the "war" does come, they don't screw the whole concept up. |

The VERY best shows always do get to finish properly; The West Wing, The Wire, Boston Legal etc....there are tons more I would have liked to see get another season or two but none on the same level as those shows, Fringe is good but nowhere near that level of quality. |
