At the end of each year, the show prepares itself to be cancelled, ties up all loose ends, and allows each of the main characters a chance to say goodbye to Mac. If the rumours are right and the show has indeed been renewed, I do hope it will (at least) be given a 10-year run as CSI: Miami had before its untimely death this weekend. |
