He's right it's out of synch. I think .300s is better, personally. but I think .2 is close. maybe
.25? but .3 is good enough for me.

For those not familiar with VLC:

>Tools
>Track Synchronization

Then adjust Audio Track Synchronization up by .300 ms.

Happy Continuum everybody! :]

You can just use VLC and press J for -0.5 and K for +0.5

Happy Torrenting.

Is the sync stable over the whole show, or does it change like in the previous episode?

Either way, FU 2HD, I'll wait for the web rips from now on.

Are you perfect 100% of the time in eveything you do?
2HD has provided hundreds of flawless torrents in the past month...how many have your provided?

this is the second week in a row. last week the release had advertisements in it, which imo is not as big a
deal... but then they rushed a repack out the door with bad sync that varied throughout the show. now, a
week later, instead of saying "hey, we had several problems with this show last week, let's make sure we
got it right", we get another out of sync file (stable this time at least), followed by another repack which
supposedly fixes the sync, which i will not be checking out. if your release is broken it should not win the
race, plain and simple.

as for me being perfect? certainly not. but let's see... 3 episodes so far: 5 releases, of which 3 are bad.
that's a 60% success rate.

I simply repackaged it to MKV with MKVtoolnix (to include subtitles) and the file was perfectly
synched. The repack, when converted to MKV the same way got unsynch.

So it seems that the problem lies in the mp4 format & the player used. Probably the stream has
something weird.

The original version (non-repack) converted to MKV played perfect in both XBMC and VLC

The following are my own thoughts, my opinions, I do NOT speak for eztv.

That is some messed up math. You can't take five releases with known errors in three of them and put
that out there as 2HD's average. Search 2HD on a pre-list or tpb for a 30 days period and you'll see
that 2HD has an extremely low rate of nukes...same as with other scene release groups. From time to
time an idividual within a group, who caps a particular show for the group, or the torrent release group
who unrars-encodes-transcodes or whatever, will have issues, temporarilly resulting in a higher than
normal level of nukes...no person or group is perfect. It's not like you paid for a service and were
ripped off. Yes the errors are inconvenient, a little frustrating, and you waste some download time and
bandwidth, but does it really deserve a FU to 2HD?

Imagine if you will, in your workplace, sometime after your last error, your boss comes to you and
says, "You have a 50% failure rate (in the last two task you performed)....you're FIRED! Nevermind
that in the previous month or previous year you've completed thousands of tasks all error free. Not
even close to a fair assessment of your overall performance. How unfair would that be? If you think
you can do it better then get in the game. Until then, cut 2HD a little slack.

Again, when I make comments I am NOT speaking for eztv.
I received the moderator title so that I may access specific features of the site; TV-News articles,
updating show information pages with air dates, descriptions, episode listings, and pictures. Although I
do read the forums I do not moderate them...well, maybe if a situation gets EXTREMELY out of hand.

Cheers
