Since nobody has posted what this is yet. Here is what I found. -------------------------------------- Steve Arnott is a young officer who’s fallen foul of his superiors for refusing to help in the cover-up of an operation that ended in the shooting of an innocent father. He seems ideal to join AC-12, an anti- corruption police unit, just as it starts to investigate Detective Chief Inspector Tony Gates, the regional force’s Officer of the Year. |

It seems that every show that comes out lately is either about cops, lawyers or medics. Is that the only three professions in this world worth making into tv programs? How f*ck*ng sad tv entertainment has become. |

this is about police corruption and its not really a cop show in that sense and it is very good , from the writer of Bodies and Cardiac arrest, which if you have seen them, would you call them just another medical show or something more in depth, same with this show. |

Lol - I think the Americans don't understand how TV works in the rest of the world "What? Aren't we the only ppl on the planet?" I just watched Rizzoli & Isles to see them do a "Man with a doll's house fetish" similar to another story from another show, strange how the storylines seem to get recycled. I wouldn't be surprised if many of the current series re-used ones from cop shows of the sixties and seventies. British TV series are often just that, a series around 6-8 episodes. There have been many that are only one or two series long. (TRANSLATION FOR AMERICANS: British TV series are often just that, a season of episodes. There have been many that are only one or two seasons long.) We are used to it, our shows tend to take a story and make you think, rather than the US habit of giving it to you in one episode; often with helpful reminders and camera placements so that the thickies can keep up with the storyline and don't feel left out when they don't know who dunnit ten minutes before the end. The only one that has come close in recent times is The Killing and that was based on a Danish TV storyline anyway. All praise to them, I had no clue as to who it was until the last two episodes out of two series (US: Seasons). |

Seriously? DoobieDoobieDoo, I find your comments offensive. All americans are the same, stupid, nieve, self important, and blind to the rest of the world. Maybe you'd like to make a racist or sexist comment next...because we know all blacks, yellows, and browns, are criminals, and women definitely need to be talked to like they are two year old children because their brains are inferior to a man's brain. Can't you say what you want to say without putting 300 million people in one boat and shitting on them. IMO, your post is only 5% about TV Shows and 95% about shitting on American people. I'm one of "the Americans" you refer to and I'm not stupid, nieve, or blind to the rest of the world. I'm the type of human who will speak up when I see a minorty, or an entire group of people, unjustly being shit on...regardless of whether or not I am in that minroty or group. |
