Perception is an American crime drama television series created by Kenneth Biller and Mike Sussman. The series stars Eric McCormack as Dr. Daniel Pierce, a neuroscientist who assists the FBI on some of their most complex cases. The series is broadcasted in the United States on the cable channel TNT, and is produced by ABC Studios. Dr. Daniel Pierce, a talented but eccentric neuroscientist, is enlisted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to assist in solving some of its most complex cases. Dr. Pierce works closely with Special Agent Kate Moretti, a former student who recruited him to work with the Bureau. Also on the team are Max Lewicki, Dr. Pierce's teaching assistant and Natalie Vincent, his best friend. |

Very well written, acted, and produced. Looks to be a great series. The main character is not just eccentric-- he himself suffers from neurological/psychological problems, which may have been the impetus for his interest in neurology and which also help him to solve the cases he gets involved with (when they aren't hindering him from having a "normal" life). |

I'm not going to give this a Try, I had it with cop shows procedurals so the only cop shows out there for me are: -Continuum (because its more science-fiction than a cop show) -Midsomer murders (because its awesome) -Southland (because its not about all the procedural BS). |

Like half of those police shows in the states are actually Canadian... Flashpoint, Rookie Blue, Continuum, The Listener, etc. Cop Drama's are the number one TV series genre worldwide. So keep your xenophobic anti-America propaganda to yourself. |

| Bit sensitive? Hardly xenophobic or anti-american, was it. Anti-cop shows if anything. | |||||

I think I speak for all non-Americans when I say we can't tell the difference between an American and a Canadian, so stop pretending there is one. |
