Spoiler: They say speed cameras cant be beaten but on Top gear they proved that if you go faster than 170MPH/273KPH the cameras cannot keep up at that speed. Its interesting that when they tested the myth with a fast car, they went to a track instead which was a lot shorter than the 1 1/2 mile strip (which they were first at) to achieve high speed. |

Yea I thought that was stupid too, they got a fast car, but went to a short track, got a shitty neon or whatever and went to a 2 mile track lol |

I thought it was silly that they didn't do (or say) anything about the math behind the camera system. I mean, it can't be that hard for them to calculate how fast you'd have to go to either not trigger the camera at all, or to trigger it and have time to pass out of frame, or blur out due to shutter speed issues or whatever. |
