hey lal4life8, give me an idea of the quality differences you notice from the 350mb version. I too decided to download this version instead of the other just to see if it was indeed worth the extra size. It's gonna be a little while with it being a new seed though. |

smokeonit: mkv is a container. video encoded using X codec (x.264/h.264/xvid/divx/asf/ogv/etc) can be placed into it. avi is also a container. both have nothing to do with quicktime. if QT will transcode from 264 video in an .avi container, then move your data to an .avi container first. |

They use the MKV container because the MP4 container (the format that QuickTime uses) doesn't support AC3 audio. Go to videohelp dot com if you want info on how to remux/convert to QuickTime. |

Lost.S03E12.PROPER.HR.HDTV.XviD-2HD (However, slow download at the moment) From the \".nfo\" file... \"Hmm. TVFF, another new group or existing grp with a different \'tag\'. Well there\'s was nuked for missing audio and video around the 26 minute mark. Surprisingly, Crimson didn\'t wait very long to check if they could proper and internalled rather quickly. However Crimson\'s encode suffers from dropouts throughout the episode so maybe thats why they internalled instead of propering. Speed over quality seems to be spreading to the HR format as well as the 350mb regular releases. Slow down and put some effort into things guys, no one benefits from a junky encode. Hell from what we can gather, only the X264 of this episode is anywhere near being acceptable and even then who wants to download 1gb. And oh yeah. Ours isn\'t missing footage at 26minutes. Much love and respect to those who put quality over speed including our friends in FQM, CTU and Topaz.\" |
