2SD 'segments'* their releases and uses inferior resizing methods. Hence the speed. *encoding of the release per commercial-to-commercial block, and then combining those blocks, instead of first merging all those blocks as raw captured data, and only THEN encoding it, as a whole. The latter gives a much better distribution of bandwidth and thus better quality. |

Ahh so that's how they do it. Still, it's not like TDS and TCR are some fancy AAA HDTV show that you'd expect an exceptional release of (like say the 720p versions of 24). I assume most people just delete them after they watch them once, right? As long as it looks better than youtube I'll be happy =D |
