from the nfo file: not sure why the labeling seems so complicated on this show. for one, correct precedent was set with the very first pre for this show. deciding to go against the precedent, especially when correct, makes no sense. secondly, this format of show is similiar to the likes of real time and the soup, both of which are labeled by date, not season and episode number. even if you go strictly on the weekly recap "news" genre this show is classified as, it would fall in line with 60 minutes and nightline, which are also labeled by date, not season and episode number. we dont need dirfixes or nukes on old releases, but letss fix this going forward. -team bajskorv ====================================================== finally! i've been saying the same thing from day one... as noted in many of my previous forum posts... shows that air all year round use the date format. (my observation) these shows are typically news, politics, current events, film/tv entertainment. shows that air one (maybe two) season(s) a year use the sxxexx format. examples... some shows that air daily and use the date format: the colbert report, the daily show, letterman, conan, seth meyers, kimmel, etc. some shows that air weekly and use the date format: real time with bill maher, 60 minutes, 20/20, the soup, imo this show fits historical precedence set by the scene, and should use the date format. i don't recall any other daily or weekly show that airs all year round that uses the sxxexx format. the sd x264 tv releasing standards 2012 http://scenerules.irc.gs/n.html?id=2012_sdtvx264u1.nfo it does not say daily shows "only". it says daily "or ohther" dated shows. |

finally. thanks bajskorv for bringing some logic to this release at last. i am expecting that it might share the same scheduling as real time, which will go on summer break(6- 8wks) after the next episode. so hopefully when it comes back it september, whoever caps it will remember. |
