how do you get the sound to work properly? i get music and sound effects but no voices. thank you for your help |

first off make sure you have a good ac3 decoder like ac3filter or ffdshow. then make sure whatever you are using is down mixing 6 channel to stereo (if you only have a stereo setup) if you do not mix to stereo you will only hear left and right channels of ac3. Though the voice is in left/right most of time sometimes it is not. Also you may be piping the wrong channels from the ac3 with whatever you have installed now and thus no voice even when the voice is basic left/right. |
