Thanks from Ipswich, Australia. Re: \"is anyone still watching channel 10 in this country ??\".... Well, yes and no. We watch only a few US dramas that we can wait to see until Ten gets \'round to showing them. Our favourites (ie L&O:CI, Supernatural, Medium etc) we download to keep in line with the US schedule. I know that Ten\'s viewer demographic is 18-35 year olds but I would rather see great fictional drama than \'reality\' crap like The Biggest Loser, the utterly appalling Big Brothel and Australian Idol! |

x2 I'm in Northcote, you? And yeah, there's a few people that don't know about torrents but when shows like Border Security top the ratings u know most have gotten sick of waiting, ads and worst of all.... channel 7. A few times I've heard channel 7's ads say: "Look what happens in the last 5 mins of lost.." or PB then they show you?!?!?!?! Who the hell wants to know what's gonna happen in the last few mins of the show before hand?? |

thank you from melbourne, Australia. Channel 10 has really improved its act, and its reflected in its ratings. 9 is going down hill with hardly anything to offer these days. But because we have internet caps, we can't be downloading every show we enjoy, so we have to watch what we can when free to air gives it to us. Channel 10 still provides the letterman show, which is only 1 episode behind the US. and they provide good fixes of ncis and numbers which are a fair few episodes behind but thats ok, cause i have plenty on my download list anyway. |

Another thanks from Melbourne Australia. Channel 10 are only 6-7 episodes behind with Supernatural. Which isn't that bad compared to other shows/stations. They also did a great job with Smallville, often airing 2 episodes a week to try and catch up. Channel 9 abandoned it midway through season 2, and where already way behind when they did. Now Channel 10 are already in season 6. It has mysteriously disappeared since but if it comes back soon they should catch up before season 7 starts. Channel 7 is a disgrace. Constantly giving away spoilers in their previews, or just botching up their ads somehow. Especially with Heroes and Lost. Their airing of the Stargates is beyond horrible. Channel 9 I can't comment on other than their complete lack of any shows worth watching. I never watch Channel 9. It might as well go off the air for all I care, their canceling of the Dead Zone 1 episode into season 3 was the last straw. It was their only show I liked. |

thanks from brisbane, australia yet again, i dont know what we would do without eztv. the best i can do for bandwith and its more than i want to pay is 60gb for $70 from optus dsl which gives me heaps. most of what i download comes down in 45 mins to 1 and one half hours so i cant complain. also there are no uploads charges, you can also get the same deal on cable except i cant get optus cable where i live, maybe this will help other aussies. as to smallville disappearing yet again, i have rang channel 10 and been told it will be back but next year? they were very vague about the return date of it. cheers hc |
