Not sure if this goes for this exact episode since I haven't watched it yet, but for the episode on the 24th (and a lot of others), I seem to hear some noice in the background. Like people cheering and the Daily Show Theme for instance. It's clear that it's NOT the people in the Colbert Report studio. I've been noticing this ever since I started using headphones when watching. Take a listen at around 08:36-09:00 on the file: the.colbert.report.04.24.07.dsr.xvid-crimson.[VTV].avi. I am certainly NOT complaining, but rather just wondering how this happens. Is it the capper who is doing two shows at the same time? Or is it that The Daily Show tapes a few minutes after The Colbert Report starts its taping? That would make sense since Colbert would have the time to chat with Jon at the end of the Daily Show. TCR would have been finished taping for about 7-8 minutes when the toss over starts. Again. NOT complaining - just curious. And thank you so much for the steady delivery of these fine shows. |
