HBO has been known to track IPs.
If you fear being sued... there is a higher risk if you download any HBO show.

You have been warned... so yea.

There is a danger downloading almost every torrent here, never mind HBO shows.
Everyone should use PeerGuardian 2 while downloading, to block their IPs.

Is an anti-p2p group poisoning this torrent like they did last week?

Be careful, especially if you are in america.

I got 5 hash errors.

I also found this bulk of IP's:

64.124.145.11
64.124.145.12
64.124.145.16
64.124.145.117

NOTE: According to Phoenix Labs Lists, the IP range 64.124.145.1 -
64.124.145.127 is BLOCKED by PG2. YOU SHOULD USE PG2 IF YOU ARE DOWNLOADING FROM
THIS TORRENT!

If you go to IP-address.com, it tells you this if you paste on of those IP's in
there.

IP address info:
IP address: 64.124.145.12 (copy)
IP country: United States
IP Address state:
IP Address city: Dayton
IP postcode: 45420
IP latitude: 39.717098
IP longitude: -84.133102
ISP: ABOVENET COMMUNICATIONS
Organization: Media Sentry

And check out mediasentry.com/corp/overview/index.html

Crap!

be very careful about any hbo downloads. i got caught by hbo for downloading entourage a couple of
weeks ago. i was using the latest peerguardian AND sygate personal firewall, i thought i was safe, but no
way. i got my warning email the next day. hbo are reallly on top of this.

sad thing is i am already an hbo subscriber, i was just trying to grab an episode i had missed. they are
threatening me with legal action for watching a program i have already legally paid for the right to see.

so be warned, using an app like peerguardian doesn\'t automatically make you immune. if they want to
find you, they'll find you.

paranoid yet? i know i am, now...

I got an email as well.. just said stop, or my ISP will cut me off. No other
threats of legal action (hopefully it stays that way).

Nevertheless, I am going to steer clear of these

Can you ellaborate on where you got the mail from, whoknows? ISP, HBO,
Mediasentry or someone else?

It sucks if they somehow found a way to bypass PG2.

And has any internatiolan downloaders received any threats? I mean people who
live outside the US.
