just watched this ep on tv. its a good one, adam and jamie test old west myths
like shooting someones hat off their head and breaking someone out of jail
with horses. also they test to see if u can get impaled by a "slim jim" while
breaking into a car and having the side airbag go off.

I hate how they kept calling the slim jim a "lock pick" and how they were trying
to be all secretive about how it works. Mythbusters are starting to do stupider
myths that could easily be busted if they just checked the facts first before
trying to "bust" it. just my 2 cents...

I agree, the myths they do are also drawn out a lot longer. Jamie and Adam used
to do three or four big projects in one show, with the build-team a number of
smaller ones in-between.

We might have to call this show, BUSTED.

Personally, Im surprised they didnt run out of myths years ago, but I still
like the show alot. Also the show is pretty much fan driven now with the
online myth forum which makes it one of the most (if not the most) interactive
shows on tv. I dont think their streaching out the myths though, it just seems
that way because its usually jamie & adam doing 1 or 2 myths and grant, tory,
kari doing 1 or 2 myths. for me entertainment wise its about 30% what myths
their doing and 70% watching the mythbusters themselves.
