Is it seriously the last season? Please dear god let it be! I don't mind watching the main highlights from time to time but airing this crap almost 24/7 instead of the regular schedule is a pisstake! |

I know, the encoding on BB here sucks. Big time. Solution 1: Download a UkNova rip from their site. Amazing speeds, always works. Solution 2: Convert what you have downloaded from here to DVD format using a free version of VSO's convert to DVD (you will need to use an old, free version, as the current version is not free any more). dvd-guides.com/files/vsoConvertXtoDVD2_setup_222.exe Takes about an hour. Good luck! |

I had the same problem getting them to play on my standalone DivX player. After doing a lot of research, I found that the problem is with non-standard interleaving, and can be fixed very easily and quickly. Download any version of VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod. Load one of these Big Brother EZTV episodes into the program. When you first load the AVI file into VirtualDub, you'll get a pop-up message about the VBR MP3 stream being non-standard and it will ask you whether you want to rewrite the header. CLICK "NO". Make sure "Direct stream copy" is selected under the "Video" Menu, and then select "File --> Save As..." and re-save the AVI file. VirtualDub automatically saves the new file with proper interleaving, and the resulting file will play perfectly in any standalone DivX/XviD player. The whole process takes less than 2 minutes using my computer/CPU. May be longer/shorter for you, depending on your computer, but regardless, it's pretty simple. Hope this is helpful for someone! |

By the way, ConvertXtoDVD is a great program, but it's unnecessary since you already have a DivX compatible player. |
