The only thing that I do not like about this show is when just before every
commercial, they show whats coming up. That usually means they show the final
result of the myth in a 2 second shot just to keep the audience hooked. My
problem is that of course you are going to watch it. They do not need to give
an advanced preview, just cut to the commercial.

I totally agree. But such is the reality of TV. It's easy for us because we
don't have to endure the commercials. I've even noticed they messed up on
teasers in two different episodes saying something was coming up when it was
already finished. Oops.

It would be great if someone could edit the show and take out the previews and
while their at it maybe even put the myths together so that each myth plays
start to finish on its own.

Yeah but you can't put the myths together, Because the narrator then loses all
chronological order.

Like he'll say "Lets head back to **** myth" etc etc..
And it would just give a bad result. However I agree they should cut the previews.

I hope EZTV will also seed the Australian (?) broadcast of this episode that
group 'WPi' always caps, as it is always 8 minutes longer!

There's usually a few months' delay, but it's worth it, IMO.

ummm...what are YOU talking about.

not ALL hour shows are (approx) 43 mins, most are, but some aren't.

and heifer2 speaks the truth......

mythbusters is aired in two versions, a discovery channel version, and an 'international' version. the
international version, which is aired in australia, is actually 48 and a half minutes. it goes to air on SBS
and up until recently ran without commercials. the discovery channel air a cutdown version and insert
those dreaded coming up teases to account for their commercial breaks.

i've actually heard that discovery receive the longer international version from the company that makes
the show, they then cut the show to time themselves and insert the "coming up next" teasers which
would be provided seperately....i believe this may explain the placement of wrong teasers etc.


and themagnus...if you don't like the show, don't watch it. simple.

I also find the "coming up" segments and the constant repetition annoying, but
the show is awesome enough that this is only a minor annoyance. I understand
it's designed to pull in casual viewers who may only be surfing channels and
catch the show half-way through, but still... it would be nice if someone could
distribute a version with all that crap cut out.

Lol i didnt notice til just now - at the scene where they say "dont try this at
home - ever!" the audio is reversed!

starts at about 22:50 - adams on the right side, yet his voice comes from my
left speaker - its reversed for jamie too.
