Speed issues? This episode is transferring very slow. It gets up to about 25-
40K/s and then drops down to 1K/s or less! What's going on? My other torrents
are transferring much faster without problems right now. Never had issues with
EZTV releases like this before. Please seed!

especially considering how SLOW this torrent is. SEED plz! maybe if the
infamous death734 uploaded this torrent to torrentspy, loyal entourage fans

EZTV has clearly pointed out that rapidshare type of links are a no no round
here, with an automatic ban.

been propered by LOL for technical reasons - but unless you have a big screen TV
this release is perfectly acceptable, you probably won't notice any problems (I
didn't).

PROPER NOTES: Well well well ... so a few months ago both NOTV and XOR were
caught cheating (once again) by segmenting and guessing the sizes
for their segments. They went as far as encoding the last segment
at constant bitrates (pretty smart lol, not really).
This time NOTV thought they would start guessing the sizes again for
their segments, but instead of encoding the last segment at CBR they
did VBR.
Take entourage for instance: by looking at the graph one can clearly
notice that their bitrate is way lower than it should be for the first
half and for the second half of the show it's way higher. The only
explanation is that they were stupid enough to split the show in half,
as soon as the first half of the show went by they did a full two pass
encode on that piece by guessing the size for the second pass, after
which they did the same with the second half. XviD needs to be a
"continuous" two pass encode in case you didn't know.


- And then we wonder why the releases put out by these groups look like total
shit...

wsmokah: was a bit confused to find your rapidshare link vanished, and a
megaupload link to the RMVB recode. But after 670K/s download of a 100M file

I watch all my downloaded shows on a 50"
plasma HDV (using my modded Xbox running XBMC), so I prefer gto get proper
releases. Don't see this linked on the main page, nor on mininova. Will EZTV be
putting up the proper release?

If it has been nuked, yes.

But shouldn't you get the HR version? Or the XBOX cannot play that? (I use a
media PC connected to my HD Plasma...)

Eh, XBMC upconverts to 1080i
nicely, so no real *need* to get it, since the "normal" HDTV version looks just
fine. Since it's typically smaller in size, I get it faster.
