It's amazing to me how many people blindly believe moore. Believe me, I am

Countries with full-on socialist healthcare have nearly equal amounts of
inequity, it's simply that everybody's care is crap instead of a minority of
peoples care being lousy. It also tends to devastate pharma firms, and not
just companies looking to develop the next Viagra. It's extremely telling that
Switzerland, who operates a medical system quite similar to Mitt Romney's
plan, is the sole country left in Europe with significant pharma firms
remaining and significant drug research going on. And again, not talking
Viagra 2.0, but anti-virals, cancer drugs, etc, such as Tamiflu. Most research
outside Switzerland is limited to that done at universities, which happens
everywhere and doesn't actually result on drugs being put on the market,
merely the basic science that biotechs then spend billions developing in to
viable medicines.

All of which can be verified with some time with Google and independently
compiling research from multiple minimally-biased sources (again, all of which
can be found with some time with Google).

But the real problem is the left and right have become so divisive that
liberals off-handedly reject anything from the right and automatically embrace
whatever liberal politicians tell them, and the right does likewise. That'd be
okay if one or the other had the monopoly on the truth, but as is so often the
case, the truth is somewhere in the middle. In the case of health care, Moore
is a communist in sheeps clothing, and yet the current system is indeed
unequitable. Zero government intervention wouldn't work, nor would a single-
payer system be much better. I see conservatives like Romney being closest to
the proper middle ground, but until the left loosens up a bit too (or one of
their three front runners do the unthinkable and change their platforms mid-
stream) we'll either get one broken system or another. Meanwhile, the near
religious war will
continue..

That's the most retarded thing I've heard today. The US is 37th in the world in
health care, while these supposedly "crappy" socialized systems are among the
best. Get a grip on reality and stop defending the corporations that take
unreasonable amounts of our money then kill us anyway.
