inconvenience? no i haven't downloaded or anything. i have this episode (and all the others of s01 and s02) just not this rip. if i'm going to replace it i dont want to do it with one that has less picture. same with kyle xy. i get the hdtv rip because its 1.77:1 and not 1.33:1 (well and higher quality but thats not everything) |

this rip has no blends on it, motion is perfect and is artifact free, is far superior than the rip i had. having \"less picture\" is actually good if you wanna fit 45 minutes of video in 350mb, anyway this rip is not 4:3 its 16:10. i would like to know wich file you have that is higher quality than this rip, cause the file i had is crap compared to this one. |

i didn't say it was higher quality but not terrible quality and 16:9 (i knew this rip isn't 1.33:1) it was some 312mb 784kbps 720x480 (628x364 visible) by some divx newb that i re-encoded to crop all the bars that were around the entire thing, resized to 624x352 and it wasn't to bad, just a little dull on the color. I've been waiting for it to re-air on disc channel so i can rip a better version of it for my collection. only one group put out dvdrips for s01 and they all got nuked for not being cropped so that will never pop up on p2p. but actually you can encode 43.25min (usual runtime of future weapons) at 624x352 (if it was 16:9) and 25fps and still have it look good. even 640x352 52min at 25fps, about .140 bits/pixel looks good at 350mb. i know s02 has blending because its 25p converted to 60i (separatefield.deinterlacesmooth.repal to restore to 24.975fps with no blending or motion loss when re-encoding 60i source) but i know some season 1 episodes are fully interlaced. i didn't see blending on the one i checked which was 29.97fps |
