"What you are, what you want, what you love doesn't matter. It's all about how
you sell it. From AMC and the Emmy® Award-winning executive producer and writer
of "The Sopranos" Matthew Weiner, comes MAD MEN, a provocative new primetime
drama about how to sell the truth. Set in 1960 New York, the daring new series
is about the lives of the ruthlessly competitive men and women of Madison Avenue
advertising, an ego-driven world where key players make an art of the sell while
their private world gets sold. The 13-episode, one-hour original program
produced by Lionsgate premieres Thursday, July 19 at 10 PM | 9C."

EDIT: I just realized the free thing is a making of, not the episode.

The first episode is free on iTunes right now for anyone that doesn't want to wait.

Saw this when it aired earlier and it was really good. Being a Kartheiser fan
I was a bit disappointed that he didn't get much screen time, but it's only
the first episode and I should know better. Anyway, I'll keep on watching,
it's a great show.

Boy could this show suck any more? It was so bad it was almost unbelievably so.
What happened to our young Connor? Following his papa\'s steps into really bad
television (that\'s right David Boreanaz I think Bones sucks bad.)

Who wrote this shitty show and why? It\'s like ha ha ha sexism and smoking are so
cool and funny yo!

At least Studio 60 had the POTENTIAL of being a good show and the occasional
Aaron Sorkin good dialog.

Anyways. Either way I love pilot season! So exciting.
Keep them coming! Much love!

It\'s not the genre it\'s what you make of it. Cop: The Wire, The Shield, even
Dexter. Legal: Boston Legal. Medical: House. Supernatural: Buffy, The
4400...even Heroes. Reality: 30 Days! All examples of really good shows.
