before anybody asks what this is about o.c. creator josh schwartz, and director mcg (we are marshall), bring us chuck, a new drama pilot at abc, laced with humor about young twenty-something spies. zachary levi (less than perfect) plays chuck, a nerdy computer tech who has a database of government secrets downloaded into his brain. chuck soon finds himself recruited by john casey (adam baldwin of day break), a veteran nsa agent, for espionage work with his new partner (and first date in ten years) sarah (yvonne strzechowski) -- leading chuck to live a split life of computer geek and secret nsa missions. also cast in the pilot are sarah lancaster as chuck's sister ellie, joshua gomez as his best bud morgan, and natalie martinez. mcg will serve as executive producer with schwartz. chris fedak and peter johnson are co-executive producers. on may 10, 2007, chuck was officially given a series order by nbc. tv.com |

adam baldwin huh? so, the show is doomed to cancellation inside of 8 episodes then...  don't get me wrong, i really like baldwin actually, but it seems that whenever he gets majorly involved in a show, it's doomed to cancellation, and sooner rather than later. i mean look at the evidence: day break, pulled and cancelled after only five episodes or so aired. the inside, same thing. talk to me, never makes it past pilot. angel, unexpectedly cancelled despite strong ratings after he joins the show in recurring role during what turns out to be the show's final season. firefly, show is aired out of order, then pulled and cancelled prior to all eps being shown. x-files, joins show in recurring role, show ends soon after. the visitor, joined show in recurring role, only half a season of the show was produced before the plug was pulled. vr5, appears in major role in the pilot episode, show doesn't survive past mid-season. the cape, thrown into after midnight airing oblivion and then eventually pulled with several already produced episodes unaired. baldwin has the tv kiss of death. can "chuck" escape it? the odds are not looking good... |

fuck!!! that's probably because santa needs to send someone a dual core cpu for xmas...if it's really an issue i can re-request the screener and rework it...another thing i need is a bigger harddrive...and a better car, more attractive woman etc etc. seriously if you need a repack just ask! no problemo |

well the other santa.........shrugs......anyway i think you guys are onto something with the baldwin curse! how a show like firefly was axed is beyond me. that guy really does have some sort of dark cancellation cloud following him around, weird if you ask me. besides that(repack) i have other fish to fry early this week but will be looking at the comments and if a repack is needed and wanted so be it. |

thanks for this show. sounds ok. i have not seen it yet, i am just downloading it now. right now, in my town there is nothing new on tv, just reruns or some talk shows. i am glad i discovered eztv, and thanks to people like you, i can see another side of the world. |

the sound goes out of sync a couple times but its only slight, and very brief. they totally ripped off the sound track from the bourne supremacy. morons. he whines like a crazy little bitch on speed, but its an interesting idea for a show. wish he was more of the hero type than she was though. the guys character seems like a complete tool :/ oh and baldwin rocks. pasty man.. |

only problem with fet's comment is that adam baldwin isn't related to alex et al... h**p://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000284/bio  he does seem to have a bad record... jayne was such a great character |

i expect the curse will break when he gets a recurring role in a show that isn't shit. angel and the x-files had jumped the shark long before he signed up; all the rest deserved cancellation. |
