is there any reason I've had this running a couple days now, and still 0.0%? Is
this being seeded by NBC, or something? I've redownloaded the torrent file 3
times, and still, don't connect to anything...

Sounds like you're using peer guardian and the tracker's being blocked.

Ah, okay. Gotcha. Weird. This is the only time this has happened to me. But,
it was the 217.13.. tracker that wasn't available to me because of PeerGuardian
