From tv.com -

From writers/producers Chuck Lorre (Two And A Half Men) and Bill Prady
(Gilmore Girls)comes a new comedy that shows what happens when two
hyperintelligent scientists meet a beautiful woman--and realize they know next
to nothing about life outside of the lab.

I've seen the trailer and this looks hilarious!

Really looking forward to this!

I am the precise definition of this show's demographic, and I didn't laugh once.

It's terrible. Canceled mid-season at best.

I'm not exaggerating - it's exceedingly forced humor, and the laugh track makes
it all the more obvious. Pretty painful.

Admittedly, I am a cynical ass. But yeah, I think it's that bad.

I thought it was pretty funny actually. On the scrapheap of sitcoms sit far far
worse.

It is about nerds for nerds though, I'm sure someone who can't relate at all to
that would think it was decidedly unfunny.

Thanks for the warning about the laugh track. Can't believe they're still using
those in the 21st century. It's like a big flashing sign that says, "NOT
FUNNY." I'll give this one a pass.

As I said, I\'m choice nerd demographic. And let\'s be honest, how many people on
this site aren\'t?

It\'s just not intelligent. It\'s like frat boys writing nerd humor.

Yup, same here. I'm clearly the target demo (i.e. i'm a proud geek), but i found
this show appalling.

It's as if the writers never met a nerd/geek, and made a show about what they
thought geeks should be like... and the result is two effeminate 30-somethings
geek caricatures in comic-book shirts, with the old jokes (the myspace joke is
so overdone), the old references (Battlestar Galactica really is the new Star
Trek: the default reference when mocking a geek in a comedy.), the token
indian-geek-friend, the token weird-hair-cut-geek-playboy-wannabe-friend... and
the list goes on...

Also, the blonde couldn't be any dumber...

I am going to give it a try. Chuck Lorre is definitely one of the better sitcom
creators out there. All the more important in a medium that is dying, where
generally only the worst and mediocre are being 'greenlighted' or surviving.

I hate laugh trax also, maybe it was forced on him by nervous studio execs.

I have noticed they use laugh trax a lot lately, in the UK also....

It's funny, laugh tracks (or studio audiences--typically sweetened--which are
very similar) never used to be a bad thing. Think of all the classic sitcoms of
the '70's. I mean, "All in the Family" would be downright weird without an
audience.

But recent shows that way? I can't stand any of them, but almost universally
love those without one ("The Office" etc).

What was the last good show with an audience/laugh track? And let's overlook
ones that started before the '00's, like "Seinfeld" and "Frasier."
