I've noticed that Eureka seems to be copying ideas from Stargate a lot as
well. Naming him "Jack Carter" doesn't help either.

But anyways, it's still a good show. Looking forward to watching it.

Thanks from Canada! =D

I don't think Eureka does to be honest. There's so many ideas been used now,
it's quite difficult to make something without someone somewhere saying "hey,
you copied this!!" The re-use of an idea should be perfectly fine as long as it
is a completely different overall storyline. As long as they don't have a huge
honkin ring with a bunch of aliens flooding into a military base.

2bh I don't really care if shows copy an idea. If the episode or show is
enjoyable and watchable, I'm happy.

thats true, its very hard to find an original idea. I just mentioned this
because this episode follows the star trek ep "remember me-s04e05" very
closely, pretty much identically actually.

Thanks for the episode!

Olivia d'Abo was great in the role, I hope she comes back for more - especially
because I never knew she was such a MILF.

She won't be back this Season, sadly. She was originally gonna be in either a 3
or 8 episode arc, but they cut that back to 2. Hope shes back next Season, but
hope she doesn't try to take Zoe again!!

And go to her official website - damn she is a MILF!!

I'm sorry if you were mistaken. I agree with what you're saying. They used it
in a very different context, which is great. That is why I continue to watch
the series. Stargate and Star Trek have gone on for so long that it would be
quite hard for a newer sci-fi show to NOT use their ideas.
