I rather like it... It\'s about this chick Kat Von D (i think that\'s her name)
and she is an LA native and a tattoo artist and she moved back to LA and opened
her own tattoo shop and hired some bad ass chicks and one dude to be her
artists. They talk about themselves and then the people that go in to get
tattoos, show the art and talk about the significance of the tattoos. Some
interesting stories behind why people get inked. Anyhow, stylistically very
rock and roll and badass. I say give it a try, it\'s pretty cool.

own now she left miami ink...i wish i could have one done by her but i live too

ozzie_online1988, get miami ink first.. (look on mininova) not all are available
but get what you can & then watch LA ink.. personally i think this show isnt
nearly as good as miami ink, Kat is a head case & has no business sense..
anyone else think some scenes are totally contrived?

you cant really judge that after only 3 episodes. what does it matter if she
has no business sense, shes young, first business shes owned. you should
definitely watch miami ink as its a great show, but I think L.A. ink is
shaping up to be just as good.

Lol. Have you ever seen the first eps of Miami Ink? Let's just say it got a
WHOLE lot better.
As for headcase. Three letters: Ami.

I like to show, it is pretty cool. They have a freaking stripper pole and skate
ramp in the shop. And the girls are pretty damn hot and great artists.

Watch Miami Ink for the tattoos, because Ami is a nutjob like Kat.

as i was writing i did think about the early miami ink eps but dont remember it
being quite so contrived, maybe it was.. as for Ami, i think he's really onto
it..
dont get me wrong, i love seeing the amazing tattoos on both shows, i just
prefer miami to LA ink.. hopefully this show will get better as it goes along..
