Can you climb a building with a grappling hook? If you punch someone while
wearing a ring, will you make an imprint? Can you change in a phone booth in
time to beat the bad guys? Can you rig a grappling hook on to a car, shoot it at
a steel structure, and loop around a 90 degree corner?

I agree, I was excited after I saw the preview for this ep but it is ok at
best. the batmobile and the self ascender stuff was cool but the rest was
uninteresting filler IMO.

Who is the female superhero at 19:20 right after tori's discovery.com commercial?

The face looks familiar, but I don't recognize the characters costume because
I'm not so into the superhero genre and there are not letters or signs on the
costume to start a search.

It's still better than 90% of the shite that is shown on the telly these days.
Gotta wait a few more weeks for fall premieres. Of course that doesn't look
promising considering the FOX series Anchorwoman was cancelled after 1
episode. But yes like Penn and Teller's Bullshit! there are only so many
things to debunk.

the build team has to stop with the extremely cheesed up bad acting when they
are introducing myths, it just makes me cringe and is in no way funny. Other
than that I still think this show is going strong, next weeks ep looks really
good going by the preview.

I love the show, but this episode was terrible.
Being kind, the ring "myth" was poorly done. No way is pig skin a good analog
for human bruising or scarring.
How many times have we watched these guys be amazed when a cable (or more
frequently its connection points) snaps? Seriously a myth isn't "busted" just
because you weren't prepared for the forces involved.
What happened to Jamie and Adam supervising the build team?

Jamie's thing was good. Would like to see that part revisited, if Adam could
ever build something that works.

I hope they get their shit together, because it's a great show.
