Just a note about the airing days of the show, it's on Fridays and not
Saturdays. Cheers.

sorry to see chris morris bow out...and down

I heard a rumour that NBC are going to do a remake, but it's actually going to
have the guy who plays Moss in it still...let's just hope it's not a red dwarf
attempt.

*meet me at the station*

Yes, it's common knowledge that the show will be remade for America and
Richard Ayoade will continue on as Moss.

You "can't stand the guy who plays Moss?" Please stop pretending you are a fan
and go kill yourself as you clearly don't even get the show.

That being said this episode is easily the worst of the lot. Not one really
good laugh.

Me, I thought it was great. The new character's total chav-iness, the goth guy, in fright makeup
deadpanning, "What funeral?", Moss - standing in front of the office window - gratified that people
*finally* took the hazards of firewalls seriously... I could go on.

The US people are SO going to f*ck it up. I'm sure of it.

Anyone know if they're going to continue the original series when the US one airs? How will they do it if
Moss is in both (gawd please let Moss continue in the Brit one...)?

I'm afraid you are going to be right. Let's just hope they prove us wrong
like
with the American version of The Office; it's about a thousand times
funnier than the British version. I guess it has a lot to do with the cast.
The American cast is way, WAY better than the British cast. Ricky Gervais is
funny as shit but he just doesn't compare to Steve Carell.

Oh, and the fact that none of the jokes in the UK version make any sense to an
American audience doesn't help.

This show on the other hand is pretty universal in that it deal with IT issues
which are universal and you can forgive the random unfathomable
references, "That's like the time Sir Gimby Glob raided the house of
parliament in a diaper! [huge laugh] Bob's your Uncle!"
