Any chance of getting a copy of the 700mb version up? I've got XBMC and it can't
play 720p, and the 350mb one is a little blurry on a larger tv. Those 540p's are
great. Xbox compatible, good clarity, and less blocky video. Still, thanks for
the 720p version, I watch re-watch it on my pc anyways.

WTF? Why are you uploading these bulky, cumbersome, and unplayable (by most
people) MKV videos?

This site was pretty user-friendly in the past. I hope that isn't changing...

I agree, the 700mb versions are much more preferable. This MKV format is more
cumbersome, although I admittedly don't know the differences with MKV. All I
know is it takes alot more processor to run, and I can't run it on any DNLA device.

Would you like some bread with all that whine?

Just do a google for CCCP or just go here:
h**p://www.cccp-project.net/

Download the file from there. Not only play the mkv files, but give you
crybabies a pacifier.

Sheesh.

"Nator," I find your comment not only offensive but seemingly indicative of your
noobness.

Please stop insulting people for stating an opinion. It makes you look bad.

A) MKV is a great format for higher def files. See
h__p://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mkv.
B) MKV is open source and is there for better for widespread support.
C) He might have been a little rude, but everyone stop whining over something
you’re not paying for. If you don’t like it don’t download it.
D) I believe EZTV is simply providing seeds for various ripping/encoding
groups.

there's no hr.hdtv release currently. so how can eztv put something up which
doesn't exist?

there are:

Smallville.S07E01.HDTV.XviD-2HD
Smallville.S07E01.HDTV.XviD.PROPER-LOKi
Smallville.S07E01.720p.HDTV.x264-CTU

...and that's all so far.

Thank you eztv, I dont care what size it is. It is lovely to have a site that
gives us more than one option in download size. As to the mkv format. Use vso
convertxtodvd to burn with. mkv is a brilliant format with excellent colour
and clarity and thats what I like. Convertxtodvd by vso software includes the
mkv format and the resulting dvds are great.

For your information, I wasn't rude nor insulting. I called it as I saw it.

Rude is being like, "WTF? Why are you uploading these bulky, cumbersome, and
unplayable (by most people) MKV videos?"

That's insulting to the person who coded it. Then continued by insulting the
site by insinuating that this site isn't user friendly anymore.

I can understand the first persons post, as that was a very kindly made request.

Also, calling me a noob or inferring that I'm a noob after trying to preach to
me about 'insulting' people is the pot calling the kettle black. If you don't
like something I say, then oh well.

How is the file cumbersome? Because it's bigger? "Oh no, someone put a stop to
it, it's too big! Please give us the better quality but make it smaller!" Then
I'm the one being called a noob.

So some people don't have the codecs to play all the formats. Does that mean
that those coding the shows shouldn't use them? Does that mean that we must all
conform to one codec to make it easier for everyone? This is how DivX and XviD
started, by being released and then being installed by others. Gee, maybe
that's why I gave the url.. Oh wait, maybe that was rude of me to be helpful.

I'm blunt and I call it as I see it. If you consider bluntness to be the same
as insulting and rudeness, then that's not my fault. There is a distinct
difference. After seeing in different posts for different torrents about people
crying because the file isn't to their liking, I felt it necessary to make a
statement.

Oh by the way, those coding the shows are doing it for free, so don't be a
chooser if you're a beggar.

blankest out of everyone in this thread you are by faaar the biggest noob.

We've been doing these smallville 720p for over a year. Smallville is on a very
small list of shows that we decided to do in 720p. We have had this stupid
discussion so many times. Get over it. we will release what we want.. don't like
it, go fuck yourself

I'm not so much of a videophile that I gotta have the 720p version. The 350
MB XviD is fine for me as I can't play MKV files on my portable Media Player
(Creative Zen). However, i think its great that EZTV offer torrents of the
high quality mkv type for select shows.

I downloaded the entire last season of Doctor Who in MKV format off Demonoid
(R.I.P. - I hope not) and it looks amazing on my big screen!

Thanks EZTV!!

Complaining about 720p is like asking why one would play ps3 when the old
playstation works fine.

Get yourself a high definition TV, then look at the difference.

And if you really can't figure out how to get MPC to play MKV within five
minutes, you're probably one of those people with tons of spyware on their
computer who don't know it.

are you frakking stupid? MKV is pretty much the standard for 720p and 1080p
movies. Don't complain about something you don't know. DIVX doesn't hold the
x264 standard that true HD is encoded in. XVID has MPEG4, but anyone who knows a
little about HD can tell you that compression sucks for the HD format

MKV is great. sure you need yet another codec, but was that any different when
DVD and Divx were introduced in the piracy scene? No it wasn't. Just go with the
flow and install this small x264 codec and play the file with your basic
directshow player (like VLC or mediaplayer classic)

they are NOT bulky, not cumbersome and surely not "unplayable by most people".
Only complete frakking noobz can't handle new formats. I'm guessing you fall
under that category.

Keep 720p coming. It's great on a HDready or True HD LCD/Plasma screen.
