Woh, again with the shark jumping in a show I'm a fan of. I thought the first time, the higher math is as good as remote viewing, the letters would have put off the writers from further alienating their fans. The willy nilly mixing of psi with sci, myth and math. But the combination of near violent pornography ( mutilation, cat o'nine tails, torture upon torture, scantily clad woman w/big knife ), religious fervor, taunting nutcase, and math all make for an irreconcilable heady mess. The mathematical puzzle making also sinks this show to the level of the bad episodes of Criminal Minds, and CSI - with the taunting serial killer trail of ridiculously obscure clues, unexplained logical jumps and alike. How many Ted Kaczynski's are out there? and have the time to take a break from cutting letters out of newspapers to think up these taunts? For me, in my opinion, one of the worst episodes so far. |
