i'm generally not one to spoil anyone's fun, but i have to ask... why the fuck
would anyone care who is the first person to post a message from a particular
country? i just can't see any reason any rational person would even remotely
give a shit.

and, on a related note, what the hell is with all the "thank you eztv!" posts?
obviously anyone using this website is thankful to eztv. i can only imagine the
people at eztv understand this, and are not so emotionally fragile that they
need to be thanked every 3 seconds to keep their morale up. is it really
necessary to use up bandwidth saying "thank you" 18 billion times, forcing
everyone to wade through this bewildering outpouring of gratitude to try to find
messages that are actually useful... like comments about the quality of a file?

but, hey, whatever! if posting something like "i'm the first from zimbabwe!
thank you thank you thank you!" is what really makes your day, then by all
means, go crazy!

and on that account, if being narcissistic floats your boat, don't stop on my
account! (or anyone else's for that matter). and no, i'm not trying to
instigate, just laying the cards out on the table before i read any more of this
nonsense bickering. i'm sure eztv would agree with me.

i'm pretty sure i know the meaning of "narcissism", but just to be sure, i
looked it up and came up with "inordinate fascination with oneself", "excessive
self-love", and "erotic gratification derived from admiration of one's own
physical or mental attributes". i'm really not seeing how any of those apply to
this situation.

it doesn't seem like you're trying to instigate. if anything, i was the
instigator of this exchange

nonsense bickering? i'm just pointing out things that seem illogical to me. and,
i notice, you did not appear able to counter any of my points.

well, if eztv appreciates their bandwidth being consumed by countless people
proclaiming "thank you!" and "i'm the first!", that is certainly their right. i
don't really understand it, but hey, it doesn't really matter if i understand
it. as long as the site keeps functioning properly.

eztv gave me a 500 error when i tried to dl this earlier, so i grabbed it from
bt-chat thinking it would be the same copy. turns out it was a drmed wmv file
from teh nbc website, and because i'm in canada, it won't play on my computer.

*minor characters spoiler*
so are they doing away with the 'mr. awesome' character? i don't even remember seeing him last episode
and if they were doing something with his character i would have imagined this would be the episode to
do something with him...

man, you may think saying "thanks" is useless, but at least it's polite, true,
and short... instead of this, you, "cyclanus", aren't saying thanks, you're not
polite
and your message is a real pain to read...
why wouldn't you take a cup of shut the f
