I agree...definitely getting funnier each time. Loved the addition of Sara

the show is quite decent not great but better than average and a good way to
pass 20 mins

it got trashed pretty unfairly when it pre aired unlike cavemen which wasn't
trashed enuff so i still downloaded it.

solid well established comedy writers directors producers.

chuck lorre is again doing another updated alternative to the odd couple and
like 2 and a half men finds an interesting pairing then runs with it

but i do say "updated alternative" not a remake which gives these shows far more
freedom and licence to develop the characters without disappointing fans of
previous shows (u getting that sci fi with your crap flash gordon!!! ben
silverman with all your crap remakes of crappy shows!!!)

I really don't understand the negative criticism this show is getting ever since
the preair pilot. This show is really funny, it's getting better and better by
each episode, and the characters/actors are really really great. Good to know
that it's already gotten a full season order.

the charachters are not likeable. the main guy has nothing going for him and
his roomate is an inept asexual unfunny charachter.
the girl isn't even hot. where is the humor derived? solely on the basis of
science guys getting around in life? eh..

No you don't like them ("the charachters"and you lose points when you misspell
characters. Others do like them! Finding them more appealing as the series
progresses. The characters are developing more defined personalities which are
likable.

As pathomancer summed it so well Chuck Lorre writes about Odd Couples, Dharma and
Greg Two and a Half Man and all done well.

Chuck Lorre finds humour in the dysfunctional relationships, the disparate
characters with their compulsions and their obbsessions, how all that ties in with
how they relate to the world in awkward ways and nuerotic rituals makes the comedy.
If you don't get the humour then watch something else.

It's way better than average comedy with a solid writing-directing-production team
and a young talented ensemble cast.

So let it go....and just watch somehing else.

Hmm..whats the thing with people writing stuff like that into topics from that specific series? Nothing
better to do? I mean, it would really take some time if I bashed every series I don't like. I think I can't even
compile a whole list of them. So, just enjoy YOUR series and let us enjoy the series we like. (Thankfully)
not everyone has the same taste as you.

FYI I like Heroes, Supernatural, Chuck, Reaper, Moonlight, Eureka, the (uk) IT Crowd and the (us) Office to
name shows that are on air right now. I liked/loved Dead Like Me, Veronica Mars, Jericho (wich will
hopefully get another FULL season), Miracles, Point Pleasant, Special Unit 2, Surface, Joey and Wonderfalls
wich all didn't get as many seasons as some other shitty series because they weren't "mainstream" enaugh.
So, Stuff i DON'T like, just to name a view: Seventh Heaven (11 Seasons? (§&$(§, everything reality TV,
making shitty bands, models, dancers, you name it. House is boring, I just don't like Lost, Stargate
(Atlantis) is just..uhm..anyone watched the great movie? The opposite of that. I could continue the whole
night but I think I made my point..

i hope my geek factor is the "pretty low" aspect your talking about..
as for the comments that came after you i don't go around bashings shows, this
is the only one I don't like.
on a semi-funny note, my initial line
of "get....this....show....off..the...air" was said in the tone of denzel
washington from training day when he tells his rookie
partner "stay..off..the..rover" so to me it was funny.
anyways to each their own and i wasn't trying to insult anyone.

I agree with SIThomer that this show is just bad (in my opinion of course). I
don't agree in his reasons.. I just simply think the main guy's acting is too
forced and very fake. That alone really turns me off to the show. The girl's
hot.. but not hot enough for me to keep on tuning in.

I saw the pilot and I saw this most recent 5th episode because I was trying my
best to give it another chance.. but I just can't get over the horrid acting.

That being said though.. another reason why I gave it another chance was
because EVERYONE I've talked to have said that it's a good show. But, for me..
the show ran out of chances.
