1.43gb because runtime exceeds 54 minutes 55:57 runtime to be exact. this rule was put in place to maintain quality. infact this episode should be higher quality then normal |

why not? DHT should be always on - so that the swarm is picked up even if the tracker is not performing. |

I 100% agree with aiming to retain quality. However whomever came up with that rule missed some important aspects. By forcing it to 1.43gb it screwsup anyone burning the episodes onto blanks since 4 x 1.07gb fit with a lil space to spare. If a 1.43gb size is to be used I'd think it would be far smarter to do such for all of the episodes from the start or stick to 1.07 With the exception being IF an episode is particularly long runtime such as 2hr premiers etc. A split on the standard used at 54min is foolish IMO since that can vary by episode in the same program. Such as in the case of 2 Dexter episodes so far this season. Don't get me wrong either.. I appreciate the capping groups work and the uploaders as well. But adding some common sense in on certain aspects can help the scene rather than hinder it. (The same as I've been trying to show the movie scene for that matter). Ultimately the scene is trying to bring the quality caps to the end users.. so why screw over the end users ability to archive such by releasing in such a way as to not make things fit nicely on standard size blanks? No one out there makes a DVD-7 for example. |

exactly, its illogical not to have it on. don't say my private tracker says it must be off because they automatically turn it off for you with private flags in the torrents which only retarded clients ignore (even bitcomet obeys private flag) so there is no reason to not use DHT along with PEX |
