Pretty good episode. So, anyone liking Alicia Witt's character of Det. Falacci yet? Lots of folks over at the official L&O forum seem to hate her. From what I understand, Witt's character is only going to be on for about four or five more episodes before Julianne Nichols returns from her maternity leave. |

Alicia Witt is a great addition to the cast, hope they manage to find a way to keep her after Julianne returns |

I think you are meant to hate Falacci. I personally think Witt (and her character) is a welcomed addition. |

Over at the official L&O CI forum, the complaints seem to revolve around Falacci being "too young" to be assigned into Major Case; and other complaints are about how she dresses or walks too provocatively, etc. Personally, I think they're just nit-picking too much. I've never been one who adapted well to change (like, I still can't really get into the new techno-sounding intro to the show), but I think Alicia Witt's character was a nice addition as well. I really like Julianne Nicholson's character and can't wait to have her back on the show after her maternity leave is done, but I'm sure I'll miss Alicia Witt if the writers can't find a way to somehow keep her character scripted within the show. |
