That's really great news. It's true that season 4 was probably the weakest season of all, even though that it is still one of the greatest shows out there. Let's hope that the writers get some fresh ideas to bring back the "old school" Rescue Me. |

I agree, season 4 was pretty weak in comparison, but a weak Rescue Me still interests me more than a lot of other shows out there. I was getting sick of story lines filled with mentally ill women, like wack-job Sheila, she became more annoying and one dimensional by the minute, not to mention Janet and her 'depression' was getting just plain depressing to watch. Just seems they were leaning too much on characters that they weren't doing a very good job developing. I miss the days of partying with mushroom and viagra eating, booze swilling monkeys, THOSE episodes were great! I hope before Season 5 starts, whoever needed meds, got some meds, characters and writers alike, and we can enjoy and laugh through the last 22 episodes of a great black comedy. |
