He also voices Quagmire and Tom Tucker the newsman. I'm really not sure how they'll pull this off. An all Lois and Chris episode? Oh dear god! |

There is a distinct chance the voices have already been recorded, as that is typically an early step in animated productions, so I wouldn't worry about that. The main thing it means for any episodes ready to be produced is that they can't do rewrites or record new clips as needed - resulting in a not neccessarily inferior product but a far less polished one for sure. |

isn't it possible they are going to ruin the series by replacing the main voice actor? |

I would be extremely surprised if they did. Auditions alone would take more time than it would be worth for them, and it would just generally cause issues all around. They will work with what they have, edit together episodes as neccessary and things of that nature, and then just shut down production when they run out of material. On an aside, it is absolutely pathetic that the production on the series was only a week ahead of the broadcasts, particularly for an animated series. That speaks to serious efficiency issues. |

Errrrrrr. It's not scab produced. The editors and post production team are't on strike, and there is no indication any writers have crossed the picket line for it. Scab = people who are employeed in the same capacity as people on strike regardless of the strike. Not people who simply fulfill their duties if it is not them on strike. |
