Windows Vista, Windows Media Player 11, DivX
latest version

No problems with any other video files, including others created by BIA

Why is it always blamed on codec configuration, and why is VLC always suggested
as a solution, I should be able to play video files in the player I prefer :-)

Sync problem is consistent throughout this episode, a faction of a second out,
but noticeable

I will try jiggling the audio in VirtualDUB

Simple WMP is CRAP it gets confused among codecs etc... VLC Player is a great
player that works in ALL cases unless there is a corrupted file.

Why we blame player/codec configuration? Because we have enough experience to
know what we are talking about.

Well, actually... you don't! ;-P Why? Of course, by *then* you would be using
the free version of Zoom Player, have FFDSHOW installed and the separate
codecs installed by SUGGESTION from zoom player. Including the Quicktime and
Real Networks alternatives. I have, in 9 years of downloading and watching
video's by now, never ever come across a better combination as the above and
am using this for.... i guess about a year of 5 now. Really, try it. You'll
love it. Especially when you dislike the widescreen picture (you can zoom in
or out on every type of movie) or when ratio's are skrewed up, you can always
adjust it to better fit your need. It's especially nice when hooked up to a tv-
set that's waaaaaaay out of your way; at night, I go into bed, watch the
downloaded films of that day, it shuts down windows autmatically and the next
morning I start the new downloads again and the circle completes.

Agreed.

VLC has a great backend. Plays everything. But the GUI is the worst of any
player I\'ve ever tried. Ever. And that includes the first VCR I ever owned...
one of those old top-loading things that ate tapes and required an engineering
master\'s just to set the clock. Yes, VLC\'s GUI is worse than that. VLC\'s GUI
is featured in one of the levels of hell. VLC\'s GUI rips out your eyes and
eats them and somehow forces you to watch while it does so. That\'s how bad
VLC\'s GUI is. It kills everyone you love and leaves you alive. Then it brings
everyone you love back and kills them again. VLC\'s GUI revels in your pain.

Media Player Classic stands for truth and justice. It saves the day at the best
possible moment. Media Player Classic loves you eternally and shows you the
light. MPC is heroic. When there\'s only one set of footprints on the sand,
those are the times that MPC was carrying you. MPC stood beside you when you
graduated from high school. MPC will win the presidency of the United States of
America. MPC is neither Democrat nor Republican. MPC looks at VLC and feels
sorrow for a player that has lost its way.

In short: VLC = crap. MPC ftw.

What you speak, is music. It is unknown words to unlearned babes ears. Valuable
knowledge.

I'm humbled.. Indeed MPC has shown itself to be a player amongst players, but I
thought myself alone. I thought myself apart from a kin I longed for...

I was tormented by the concepts and wants of woeful programmers, at the whims of
lesser beings and at the contempt of forceful and expensive limits; yet MPC has
taken away the pain.. the suffering.. the sheer stupidity.

Ease of interface, simplicity of use, and sheer accessability - unique..

Usability of mouse, accentuated with the trust of keyboard - when such things
should be claimed by older and experienced warez, but were not - wonderful.

Yes, MPC is a player among players. A Ware amongst Warez.

And - It even handles my gumpy fat fingers, so it must be bit of orrite !!

Long Live KLM and MPC !!

To fix audio sync problems with WMP just go File-Tools-Options-Performance and
tick the box that says Drop Frames To Keep Audio And Video Synchronized. If you
do this the video will play slowly for about a second at the start to get them
synchronized, doing this will also work for Media Centre.
Oh and personally I think VLC sucks cause the picture isn't as good as Media
Centre or Nero or WMP.

They should've realesed the sync_fix, that would be much easier to download.
But thanks to the Barbie_on_Weed we now know how to make sync_fix on our own.

If you just want to watch it on your computer and not re-download then use
Windows Media Classic - go to audio >options >change audio sync to -300 and your
good to go.

Thanks to whoever posted the -300

VLC does not FIX out of sync files, it just can compensate for them if you
know how to use it. In the end that means the FILE is still useless. Only a
proper can make that right (or using the Virtualdub method mentioned before,
where you essentially create a proper yourself).

Please keep the fanboi discussions to a minimum, you're all just embarressing
yourselves. Only sad little men keep on being idiots.

Oh yea, right.... if more than one person no matter how noob they are
expirienced the sync problem it means that the video is broken on some level...
it doesnt matter if one plays it good using whatever crap player the wish, the
point is that it can go out of sync and this is the issue.
And one more thing.... im not here to DL the player i never used or to tweak
some shit in my PC just to watch this. I want to DL and watch, and it should be
good...
ipv6 ready
