Has anyone else noticed that this show occasionally has what sounds to be steady
pounding, very quietly and muffled in the background?

It's happened noticeably in a few episodes, just for a few seconds, almost to
the point where it seems deliberate...

I'll occasionally hear a telephone ring in the background, but I don't hear
thumping. I will keep an ear out, though.

I think this show is interesting; I'm interested in seeing where it goes. It's
definitely a grown-up show. (If it causes you physical pain, it may not be the
show for you.)

That\'s people (his wife, his kid) walking on the second floor. A very nice touch
by the director if you ask me, makes it even more real.

Agreed! I really like that no attention has ever been given to these background
noises. I'm glad other people can hear them too...
