So then can someone confirm - it appears as though Survivor has moved from Thursday nights to Wednesday nights airing in the States? Is this for this week only or a long term change? |

Only because of march madness (college basketball play offs) Survivor is moved every year during the second half of March. |

Aaah OK - thanks for explaining.... Here in South Africa we never have Sport interferring with television series. Sport is kept on the 24hour sport channels only and Series NEVER has breaks - always airs from episode 1 to the end week after week. Although we do normally get the seasons 6 months to a year later than the States...

I just watched this ep and its totally fine. If you've already downloaded this copy, no need to download the repack. I didn't understand what tstrong299 meant by "undercropped", but after a bit of browsing the forum, I realised he/she was referring to the border and not scenes. There's a tiny bit of black border visible at the top of the picture. OMG you gotta be kidding! That's like saying I dumped Jennifer Garner because she had a freckle on her butt. If anything, the scene crop cuts half of a word right at the fade out. No big deal and what was being said was no revelation either. |

Yeah, in the US, they damn near interrupt the shows for any excuse - car chases, celebrity f*ckups, commercials, sports junk - they can find. Then net executives whimper about how dastardly kids are BTing the shows instead of staying glued to the screen full of interruptions. I didn't notice the under-cropping at all. Only clicked this thread to see why they repacked it. So either's fine, boys. |

yeah IMHO the repack was not needed but I understand the rules are the rules. I thought the nfo was funny lol (copy pasted from the other thread) Heres the reason from the NFO ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I cropped 8 but in some scenes CBS had 10 black pixels. I try to crop into content as little as possible and half of the show is good to go but those other scenes have 2 pixels of black border so here is an anal-retentive minor repack. repack not proper. yes there is a huge difference 
do you mean the scene edit? the one at the very end? if so the global feed was cut short and not fixable. |

Thanks Zank for pointing that out. You're right, there's a big difference. Proper get it right first time, every time. As far as I'm concerned the first edit of this ep was fine. For you to have to redo it, someone must have a big stick up their butt. My comment about the end scene edit was not a criticism, by the way, I was just saying that I couldn't find fault with the cut and if anything, that was something. I corrected my mistake. I guess I was more interested in saving others the trouble of downloading the file for nothing and didn't realise what I wrote. I'm sure they all got what I meant though. I also corrected the punctuation mistake in the the word "thats" to "that's" and thought of you while I did it. Keep up the work. |
