LMAO: Heaps of people are using heaps of bandwidth to download unproven, badly
edited preview copies of Underbelly episodes.

Why would anyone not just wait and download broadcast quality episodes as they
arrive?

Yeah i guess i'm a sucker; granted i DO LIVE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PLANET.

i did get the scr's when the were released on eztv, but that was only up to ep 8.

Some of the screeners are better than the broadcast versions, no watermarks and
no advertisements for other shows down the bottom. Admittedly the last few eps
leave a bit to be desired with the poor editing and wrong aspect ratio.

Sorry but your inability to run it properly does not qualify for a
proper/repack. But the fact that it was nuked does. Has it?

I found the picture & sound quality excellent as well, however from around
20mins in they synch went astray. Tried on Media Lounge & WMP, over a netwoek
& local - all exhibited the exact same lag.

ahh ok, firstly im from Victoria ;-) i didnt download mine and they really arent
that big files anyway, they look better than tv rips. Dunno bout these badly
edited copies your talking about, all mine have is a time counter below( better
than ur stupid getaway or ACA banner popping up), no credits at the end but hey
your patient enuff to wait and want tv quality episodes and sit thru ad breaks,
sooo be it!

J2a what does living on the other side of the planet have to do with getting the
dvd copies lol, its on the internet, ya dont have to take the bus ya know!

it's not "poor editing" it's just unfinished

Hey jammie,

Often (usually always) the broadcast versions are different from the screeners
so if you get quizzical looks when discussing the latest episode with mere
mortals around the water cooler you'll know why.

Also, I wasn't talking about a limitation of bandwidth per se, I was talking
about the thousands of people wasting their own bandwidth downloading episodes
11-13 multiple times in a futile attempt to get decent versions - not helped by
net kiddies repacking the same dud screeners as newly released final versions.
Have a look at the chatter and sheer number of different torrents for eps 11-13
on Mininova, none of them any good!

Finally, as you admit that you didn't download your copies anyway, where does
that leave the rest of us? It would be great if you could post a copy to me,
otherwise I'll just have to wait... :-)
