These HDTVs have been between 2-5 minutes shorter than the DSRs, despite the fact they include credits. Is it possible the BBC version cuts some things out, or is there another explanation? |

No, nothing is cut out. <sigh> This question gets asked a lot. DSR = 30 fps (4:3 aspect ratio) HDTV = 23.97 fps (16:9 aspect ratio) Not only that, the DSR rips are NTSC (North America); the HDTV rips are from the UK, which uses PAL. The lesser fps (frames per second) results in a slightly less "running time" even though all the content is there. |
