On 3 April 2012, Channel 5 announced that it had renewed Big Brother until the end of 2014.
NOTE: The series/season numbering varies from site to site (wiki, tvrage, imdb, thefutoncritic, epguides, tvguide, sharetve, myepisodes, etc) and can be confusing.
Some sites treated "Ultimate Big Brother" as a new, separate, show, like they do with "Celebrity Big Brother" and numbered it separately. Other sites treated "Ultimate Big Brother" as just another season of "Big Brother" and increased the season numbering by one.
For the purpose of this site and most "Big Brother (UK)" torrents that are released by "The Scene", ..."Ultimate Big Brother", was treated as a separate show with it's own numbering. Therefore, the upcoming season of "Big Brother (UK)" will be S13,...not 14 as shown on tvrage and some other tv show information sites.
I will update this information if there is a change in the way the scene numbers the upcoming new sesason...or if someone provides me with a more accurate and/or easier way of explaining the torrent numbering scheme of this show.

About the show

Big Brother is the UK's biggest reality TV show and is one of the most popular talked-about shows in British TV history.
Housemates (Participants) live together in "The Big Brother House" totally isolated from the outside world but are continuously watched by television cameras...and an average of about 5 million viewers.
Each series/season lasts for around three months, and there are usually fewer than 16 participants.
I's essentially a competition between the housemates, the object of which is to be the last remaining housemate in the House. At least one housemate will leave the House every week by a process of nomination and public eviction. Housemates will nominate each other for eviction and those with the most votes from their peers face a public vote. The housemate that receives most public votes leaves the House and is out of the competition.
Housemates are provided with a shopping budget each week to buy food and other necessities. Throughout the series housemates will be asked to complete tasks set by Big Brother. If the group does well in the tasks they get rewarded with a bigger shopping budget, plus special treats.
On the final night of Big Brother the public vote on which housemate they want to win the show. The housemate with most votes wins a fabulous cash prize!
