"Wilfred (US)" is a series about Ryan (Elijah Wood) a man struggling to make his own way in the world when he meets a unique friend named Wilfred (Jason Gann), his neighbor's canine pet. Whereas everyone sees Wilfred as just a dog, Ryan sees him as a cruel and surly Australian guy in a dog suit. Together Wilfred and Ryan go on adventures and Wilfred teaches Ryan how to overcome his fears and simply embrace the challenges that come his way no matter how insane it is around him at the time.
Based on the 2007/2010 Australian SBS One series of the same name.
Jason Gann plays the role of Wilfred the dog, in both the US and AU versions.
