About the show

Are You There, Chelsea? is an American Sitcom created by Dottie Zicklin and Julie Ann Larson. It is based on Chelsea Handler's 2008 best-selling book "Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea".
The Sitcom follows an outspoken young woman and her circle of friends. Laura Prepon plays the main character "Chelsea Newman", a cocktail waitress. Chelsea's life revolves around her work at Jerry's Ultimate Sports Bar in New Jersey, where she is surrounded by an eclectic group of friends and co-workers. Handler plays "Chelsea's" born-again Christian sister, "Sloane", a married, conservative new mom who has little in common with her carefree sister.
