Hasselhoff May Get 'Knight Rider' Cameo	The Bubble	Login to vote
NBC's "Knight Rider" remake has cast its female lead -- and is working at getting the original Knight to make an appearance as well. Deanna Russo ("The Young and the Restless") will star opposite fellow soap actor Justin Bruening ("All My Children") in the two-hour movie/back-door pilot that updates the 1980s NBC show. Meanwhile, according to The Hollywood Reporter, original "Knight Rider" star David Hasselhoff is in talks to reprise his role as Michael Knight. In the movie's storyline, Bruening's character, Mike Tracer, is the son of Michael Knight. He starts following in his dad's footsteps after an old girlfriend (Russo) asks Mike to help her find her missing father. Said father also happens to be the inventor of supercar KITT. Thus, NBC hopes, a new series will be born. Russo plays Dr. Logan Armstrong on the CBS soap "The Young and the Restless." Her credits also include guest spots on "How I Met Your Mother" and "CSI: NY" and the feature films "Rest Stop" and "Believers."
