Weekend Picks: Curb Your Enthusiasm, Guiding Light, and the Emmys Curb Your Enthusiasm Login to vote
What to watch from Friday, September 18 to Sunday, September 20.

It's the weekend -- will 30 Rock win a bajillion Emmys?

Here's what we'll be watching ...

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

"You're drunk." "You're sexy."
3 p.m., CBS

Guiding Light
Bid a final farewell to this long-running soap -- 58 years is a long time for the Coopers, the Bauers, the Lewises, and the Spauldings to carry each others' babies, sleep with each others' gardeners, take advantage of each others' comas, and stare longingly into each others' eyes.

8 p.m., ABC

The Alma Awards
With George Lopez and Eva Longoria Parker hosting, and Selena Gomez, Shakira, David Archuleta, Nelly Furtado, and others performing, it should be a huge fiesta. Plus Rainn Wilson's going to be there.

10 p.m., STARZ

Crash
It's the Season 2 opener -- and that means that Ben (Dennis Hopper) is back from rehab and ready to do a little murder investigation. No big deal.

PLUS:
Jockeys, 6 p.m., ANIMAL
Dog Whisperer, 6 p.m., NGC
Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?, 8 p.m., FOX
Monk, 9 p.m., USA
Chefs vs. City, 10 p.m., FOOD
Psych, 10 p.m., USA

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19

Rest in peace.
8 p.m., ABC family

Dirty Dancing
Remember Patrick Swayze the right way. He never looked -- or danced -- better.

10 p.m., SPIKE

Road House
Continue the Swayze-thon and check out one of his lesser-known films -- he plays a bouncer with a knack for breaking up fights.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20
8 p.m., CBS

The Primetime Emmy Awards
Will big guns like 30 Rock and Mad Men clean up? Or will underdogs like The Big Bang Theory prevail? Remember to vote for your favorites before you tune in!

Helloooooooo!
9 p.m., HBO

Curb Your Enthusiasm
Curb is back after nearly two years on hiatus. It's Season 7, and you know what that means: The Seinfeld reunion is in the works. (And don't forget about the series premiere of Bored to Death at 9:30 p.m.!)

10 p.m., AMC

Mad Men
Joan's (Christina Hendricks) surprise party gets ruined -- and Sally is still acting strange.

PLUS:
Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, 10 p.m., E!
Entourage, 10:30 p.m., HBO
