Desperate Housewives hit a new season high last night, early viewing figures show. The 9pm episode pulled in 14.35m, beating the previous high of 14.27m on Sunday, October 4. Also on ABC last night, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Brothers & Sisters logged 11.58m and 10.17m at 8pm and 10pm respectively. The Simpsons and The Cleveland Show grabbed 9.04m and 7.01m at 8pm and 8.30pm for Fox, then 8.28m watched Family Guy at 9pm. American Dad drew 5.99m at 9.30pm. Over on CBS, 11.64m watched The Amazing Race at 8pm, before Three Rivers and Cold Case interested 8.45m and 9.24m at 9pm and 10pm respectively. NBC's coverage of England's game against Indianapolis averaged 19.85m between 8.30pm and 11pm, easily winning primetime. Source: Digital Spy
