Elisha Cuthbert has joined the cast of The Forgotten in a recurring role. ABC announced on Monday that the actress, who plays Kim Bauer on 24, will play Maxine Denver, a strong and successful Chicago professional who is forced to put her skepticism of "amateur detectives" aside when The Forgotten Network begins investigating a case close to home. The Forgotten, which stars Christian Slater, follows a team of dedicated amateurs who work on murder cases involving unidentified victims after the police have given up.
