Pair of shows go DVD for first time; Grey's, Housewives also get third-season boxed sets.

The third season of Lost wasn't the only new addition to Buena Vista Home Entertainment's family of DVDs announced today. The company also revealed that it will be putting out the most recent seasons of four other ABC hits.

Desperate Housewives: The Complete Third Season, The Dirty Laundry Edition will bundle together six DVDs and be released September 4. In addition to the 23 one-hour episodes, the set will include bonus features such as a behind-the-scenes peek at the season finale, a collection of creator Marc Cherry's favorite Desperate moments, unaired storylines, deleted scenes, and bloopers.

Grey's Anatomy: The Complete Third Season--Seriously Extended features 25 one-hour episodes on seven discs, and will be released September 18. Bonuses include four episodes which have been extended exclusively for the DVD, actor Patrick Dempsey bringing a camera crew with him to the racetrack, the cast sharing their favorite scenes, and a featurette showing how new characters are created and integrated into the hospital drama.

Ugly Betty heads to DVD for the first time with Ugly Betty: The Complete First Season--The Bettyfied Edition on August 21. The six-disc set will include behind-the-scenes looks at the show, including lead actress America Ferrera's transformation into the title character, a short showing how a Los Angeles sound stage gets turned into bustling Manhattan, and deleted scenes.

Brothers & Sisters: The Complete First Season, due out September 18, packages the new family drama into a six-disc collection. Among the bonus features included in the boxed set are guided tours of the set by cast members, a look at the show's creators, and deleted scenes.

All four DVD sets will retail for $59.99.
